Cynthia Blanton, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PHMNP-BC, certified in the Diagnosis and Management of Autism Spectrum Disorders, owner of Spectrum Insights, brings evidence-based practice to telehealth. Dr. Blanton has over 10 years of experience in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing Autism Spectrum Disorders. Her background includes Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics as well as Neurology. Dr. Blanton has successfully implemented an Autism Evaluation Clinic in rural North Carolina. With the advances of telehealth, she is expanding her expertise Virginia and Florida.
Dr. Blanton obtained her Master's of Nursing as Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010. Working as a Nurse Practitioner, she became interested in autism and mental health. She went on to further her studies with obtaining her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, followed by post-master's certification as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and certification in Diagnosis and Management of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Blanton not only has the clinical experience but also parenting experience of children on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and anxiety. She listens to your concerns and understands how frustrating it can be to wait for a diagnosis.
